Our crews insulated the roof deck with open cell foam and applied a vapor barrier primer to the exposed wood surfaces to prevent moisture from getting into the wood. Then the exterior walls were insulated with 3 inches of open cell foam. This created an air tight thermal cap on the building.

Our team at Reed's Sprayfoam Insulation removed the old insulation throughout the ceiling of this large metal building in Ashland, KY, replacing it with 6" of open cell foam insulation. We also insulated the walls with 4" of open cell foam insulation as well as filled gaps between wall cavities and sheet rock with foam. This created an airtight seal with 94% efficient air barrier to the building to maintain a comfortable area as well as prevent moisture in the area.
