Job completed for Crawl Space Makeover in Georgetown, KY

Completion date: February 12, 2020

Location: Georgetown, KY

Why did the customer contact us?

This customer from Georgetown, KY contacted Reed's Sprayfoam Insulation wanting to give their crawl space a makeover to make it not only more energy efficient, but also prevent moisture damage to the home as well as prevent allergens from entering the home.

Solutions provided:

After digging ditches, adding a drainage line and installing a Sump Pump; the crew placed a 20 ml liner between the earth and the crawl space. To create an airtight seal on the area, the crew also added 2" of closed cell spray foam insulation to the walls and support beams of the crawl space.
All of these efforts combined have preformed a full makeover on the crawl space, making it less damp, preventing mold and mildew pores from entering into the space which will not only save on damage but prevent allergies from flaring up, and lastly helping preserve heating and cooling in the home.
